Energy renovation of the Koprivnica City Museum

DI plan provided construction supervision on the energy renovation of the Koprivnica City Museum in Croatia, a protected cultural property from the 17th century. The 1,365 m² building was renovated under special heritage conservation conditions, and the contracted value of the works was EUR 1.39 million.

The renovation included treatment of rising damp in the walls, thermal insulation of the envelope, the ceiling below the attic and the ground floor slab, restoration of the facades and replacement of the external joinery. The electrical installations and the general and exhibition lighting were fully renewed, and a new heating system was installed with underfloor heating on the ground floor, radiators on the upper floor and a gas condensing boiler. Our supervision covered building, mechanical and electrical works. The project was financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NPOO) with NextGenerationEU funds.
